Terms for buying and using 71 Squared software, and for using this website.
These terms are an agreement between you and Codebots Ltd, trading as 71 Squared. Buying the software, using it, or using this website means you agree to them.
A purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software. You do not buy the software itself. You may not sell, rent, share or give the licence to anyone else.
Orders from our store are taken by FastSpring, who process the payment and are the seller of record. The price and the product are shown at checkout.
Refund requests for a store purchase are handled by FastSpring. Nothing in these terms removes rights the law gives you and does not allow a contract to take away.
We may release bug fixes, updates and new versions. A purchase includes later versions only where the product page or the checkout says so.
You may not copy the software except as needed to use your licence, and you may not reverse engineer it except where the law allows. You may not use the software, this website or the forum to break the law, or in a way that disrupts the service.
You are responsible for the email address used to buy and to recover a licence. Keep it available, because that is how licenses are looked up.
Personal information is handled as described in our privacy policy.
The software, this website, the 71 Squared name and the content we publish belong to Codebots Ltd. This licence does not transfer any of that to you.
The software and this website are provided as they are. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the software or the website.
We may end the licence if you break these terms. We will tell you unless the law prevents it or telling you would put the service at risk.
We may update these terms by posting the new version on this page. This version was published in October 2026.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.
These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement about the software and this website. If one part cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
Questions about these terms can be sent through our support page.
