The iPad way of life

Well, I’m settling in well with the iPad. I’m finding that it is with me all the time. The large screen and surfing experience is just amazing and I’m finding myself spending more time in the lounge than in the office at the moment just to use it more.

I’m actually sat in Costa coffee, Brackley UK writing this blog. There is a Wi-Fi access point i can use while sat drinking my favourite coffee which is just great.

iPhone OS 4.0

So, iPhone OS 4.0 has been released. Whilst we cannot discuss the details of the OS due to the NDA, it would be good to hear what people think about what was announced today. I’m really impressed with the features included in 4.0 and I think its taking the OS a lot further forward.

Count down to my iPad

Being in the UK I don’t yet have an exact date when the iPad will be available to buy. This to a complete fanboy like myself is just unbearable. Luckily, Chuck my editor has been a complete hero and purchased an iPad on my behalf and sent it out to me today.

I can’t tell you how excited I am. It should be arriving by 3pm UK time on Monday 12th but I’m going to be in Italy on Monday, so I won’t get to unpack it until I get home after 9pm :o(

Tutorials Appearing in iCreate Magazine

I had some great news last week. I was contacted by iCreate magazine asking if they could include my tutorials from the blog on the cover disk of their magazine. John and I have no problems with that as you can imagine and the first set of tutorials should be included on the cover disk of issue 81 which will go on sale on May 6th.

This is great news for the blog as this could introduce 71Squared to many more new readers.
