First I must apologise for this post being a little me, me, me, me, me ;o)
As you may know from a previous post I was in San Francisco last week as Monday 18th April was my first day at my new company,Vindicia. I love San Francisco and being there on my first day and being able to meet my new colleagues was fantastic. I learnt so much and got myself even more excited about the opportunity than I already was. I haven’t felt the same buzz about my day job for years and whilst moving from a Large company such as Oracle is a little scary, I feel like it’s the best thing I could have done.

I’ve finally got a new tutorial done and it feels great :)
In this tutorial I take the XCode 4 OpenGL ES Template and show the change needed to be able to render in 3D. The Tutorial runs through all the changes made to remove the OpenGL ES 2.0 render code, add a depth buffer, add code to support a game loop (as seen in earlier tutorials) and then shows how to render a grid made of lines and a number of colored squares in 3D space.
