Important Particle Designer Update

I’ve just been told that the Particle Designer update from yesterday, version 1.1.44 had the purchase option enabled. This is still being tested and only links to a test account that does NOT process payments. If anyone has used this option the payment will not have been actioned.

I’ve just posted a new version Particle Designer that switches off the purchase option while we continue implementing and testing this option.

Apologies for any confusion caused.

BBC iPlayer on the iPad

For those in the UK lucky enough to have an iPad and who have tried to use the BBC iPlayer site, you will have been disappointed to find that it does work. This is something that frustrated me a lot but I’ve not had time to look into it.

Particle Designer Updates?

I wanted to see if people who have downloaded 1.1.40 of Particle Designer are being alerted automatically to the new version that was put up 1.1.41. When running the app you should have been told this version was available for download.

If not, can you try the Check For Updates menu option and let me know if the manual update is working and if you got the auto update notices.

A new version will be posted in the next hour which some small GUI changes, a randomize button and a few bug fixes.

Sir Lamorak’s Quest – APPROVED

I got notification from Apple on 23rd April that SLQ has been approved. This is great and brings its official release ever closer. I’ll be making it available for sale real soon and look forward to everyone having a play.

The iPad way of life

Well, I’m settling in well with the iPad. I’m finding that it is with me all the time. The large screen and surfing experience is just amazing and I’m finding myself spending more time in the lounge than in the office at the moment just to use it more.

I’m actually sat in Costa coffee, Brackley UK writing this blog. There is a Wi-Fi access point i can use while sat drinking my favourite coffee which is just great.
