Tiled Qt 0.1.0
This is something I’ve been meaning to post about for a while. I’m a big fan of Tiled and it was great to learn that a new version of the editor is being created.
The current version of Tiled is written in Java. The new version is written using C++ and Qt. Qt is a cross platform UI framework and the first early beta of this new Qt version looks great.
I would seriously recommend checking this new version out. It is not finished yet and there is still a great deal of functionality to be added, but it looks great and handles the TMX files I’ve generated in the current Tiled without a problem. It also already provides a cleaner interface for dealing with Object Groups as well.
