News Roundup: Dev Team Working on PwnageTool to Jailbreak iPhone OS 3.1

The iPhone Dev Team had warned iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS users who had jailbroken and/or unlocked their iPhone to avoid upgrading to iPhone OS 3.1 a day before it was released.

The iPhone Dev Team has just updated their blog to inform iPhone users who have been anxiously waiting for some news on jailbreaking iPhone OS 3.1 that they are working on PwnageTool for iPhone OS 3.1.

iPhone OS 3.1 handy features

I am yet to test the complete features of iPhone OS 3.1. So, for now lets skip the minor tweaks and see the major features we’ve got in this new software.

The release note says ‘bug fixes’ and some of the issues addressed are better Wi-Fi performance when bluetooth is turned on for iPhone 3G users. Another significant issue addressed is the incorrect display of application icons.
