Credit Tracker
![]()
Some of you may have noticed that Credit Tracker had disappeared from the App Store. This was because I was working on v2.0 which is a complete rewrite. v2.0 will be an upgrade from v1.1 so people who have purchased the first one, will be able to upgrade. Unfortunately, it will not transfer any existing data as I have had to rewrite a lot of the structure.
Credit Tracker is an application which will keep tabs on all your credit card spending. If you like to clear all your credit cards each month, so as not to accrue interest, then this is the application for you. Some of the main features are listed below.
- Gives you a 9-day count down to interest (yellow triangle) for each transaction.
- If you start to pay interest on a transaction a red warning triangle appears next to it.
- Once a transaction is paid, a “paid†stamp appears next to the transaction.
If you have any support issues with this application, then please leave a comment here or email me at jonny@71squared.co.uk

Hi Nick,
Thanks for your comment. I was considering re-writing the whole app using coredata as maybe a v2.0 release but will look at a fix for the bug I discovered and do a 1.2 release first.
Hopefully, it won’t take too long to fix.
Thanks
John.

Hi John.
The credit tracker is a simple app and its just what I needed.. The app was working fine until I updated my Iphone software to ver 4. The app hangs whenever i entered 2 transactions for the same day.Hope you can rectify this asap.. thanks

Hi Virgonita,
I have the app running on my iPhone 4 which seems fine. I setup a new card and added 2 transactions and it is still fine.
Maybe it hangs with existing data after the upgrade. So will test this and get back to you.

HI there,
I have downloaded your app which worked very well initially and is exactly what I am after, however I entered two transactions for today and now it crashes when I try to go back into my credit card transactions.
I am running the most up to date software on the iPhone 3GS…
Any help would be appreciated…
Cheers

Hi paching,
I could not replicate this error on my dev version but downloaded the free app from the app store and indeed it does crash after entering two transactions on the same day.
I am in the process of fixing this bug along with some others reported and will release an update in the next few weeks.
Thanks for letting me know.
John.
