New Readers Game – Monster Melody Mash
I wanted to share another readers game today which I love. Jonathan at Tui Studios has created a great music mashup app called Monster Melody Mash.
The thing that really stands out for me is the quality of the graphics and animation. The concept is simple and similar to other music mashup apps that allow you to mix pre-recorded musical elements together and also play your own notes over the top. My kids love this app and it’s surprising just how much fun you can have.
Jonathan is an animator by trade which really shows in this app, but using the tutorials on this blog and the Sound Manager class he bas been able to create what I feel is a very clean and professional looking app.
I would certainly recommend checking it out and also taking a look at the video advert that has been done. The animation is excellent and it really has an Apple feel about it too.
