looks a lot thinner than I thought it was going to be.

Just a shame a can’t, at the moment, justify the expense :) although if it ends up being anything like the iPhone the next version won’t be long in the making so I’ll probably hold out for that.

Did you say that you were going to make SLQ iPap compatible 450,000 sold only 3,000 apps on the iPad store not as crowded but equally not as big an audience as the 84million iPhones/touches (reckon it’s more like half that really, as apple’s probably counting total sales todate and you gotta figure there not all gonna still be in use) and 180000 apps. If anyone would care to do the maths. If you’re creating an iPad version I’d be inclined to charge for it given the numbers, but you’ll have to be quick about it :)

Yes Mike, please do more ipad related content. I am loving my ipad as well and it seems like all I read is negativity and anti-Apple sentiments.

Wow, a website that reads and responds to their comments! Sorry, I was beginning to wonder if any website I read was really hosted and written by a human. :)

I don’t know how much of the video not working is your fault. It was Vimeo that wasn’t playing the video not your site, and it does play if you browse to it via (Mobile?) Safari on the iPad. (Should Safari be called “Mobile Safari” on the iPad, it is still mobile, just not as mobile as an iPhone. However, the iPod touch still calls it Mobile Safari…) … Anyway.

Do you think there is anything you can do to make Vimeo play it through a built-in browser to an application?

Thanks Dave. I will speak with John and see what we can do on the site to make it more compatible. I’m not sure why it isn’t working but John is the web expert so he may have more info.

No, I wasn’t being facetious. Oddly enough, when I go to the site with Safari (on the iPad) and tap on the link for the video it works fine.

I was in “Reeder” which took me to it’s internal browser to look at your site and tap that link. I wonder if the browser that you can code into your own applications is not as capable as the Safari app.

Either way, I can see the video so long as I go to the Vimeo page with the Safari app.
