@impersonation Cool, so what I am thinking is a series of tutorials based on creating a web page from a simple Photoshop design. How I go about setting out the CSS/XHTML etc. Maybe add some jQuery features along the way.

I will make a start on a simple design layout we can use.

Thanks

@John I'm using a Mac.

A couple of "Getting Started" tutorials would be great.

Thanx

@impersonation The correct way to do CSS is basically to adhere to the guidelines given out by W3C (http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/) as much as possible. I find that as long as it validates then its ok.

I could maybe do some "Getting Started" tutorials if that would help people to get into Web Development.

As for IDE's, I have started to use Espresso for Mac and also use Adobe Dreamweaver at work purely for syntax highlighting.

Are you using Mac or Windows?

Thanks

Hey John. Love the new blog look. Very clean and minimalistic. I've never caught on to the web development scene primarily because I find CSS so complex. Its not that its tough, its just one of those standards that has too many ways of doing one thing.

Can you suggest some places to start for basic CSS/XHTML/jQuery - the correct way (is there a correct way :p)??? Can you also suggest some complete IDEs?
